Harry S. Mattice, Jr.

Harry S. Mattice, Jr. founded The Mattice Group in 2022, a private law practice specializing in government and corporate investigations. As Managing Member, he oversees the firm’s professional, legal, and administrative engagements.

In 1997, Mr. Mattice acted as Senior Counsel to the Governmental Affairs Committee – Special Investigation of the United States Senate, where he investigated activities connected with the 1996 presidential election campaign. He was appointed as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee in 2001 and U.S. District Judge in 2005, and was awarded the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General’s Integrity Award in 2006. Mr. Mattice holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and earned his J. D. at the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Daisy W. Madison

Daisy W. Madison a retired Certified Public Accountant, spent nearly three decades as Chattanooga’s Chief Financial Officer. During her tenure, she was successful in her efforts to upgrade the city’s bond rating to AAA and enhance budgeting and financial reporting processes which were instrumental in obtaining the City’s strong financial position and national recognition by the National Government Finance Officers Association for excellence in budgeting and financial reporting. She was selected as a “Woman of Distinction” by the Women of Distinction of Chattanooga. Ms. Madison has over 47 years of financial management, accounting and auditing experience in government and private sector which includes the U.S. General Accounting Office, Arthur Andersen & Company, State of TN, and City and County governments.

Today, Ms. Madison is the Chair of the City of Chattanooga General Pension Plan Board of Trustees. She also holds leadership roles within the Hamilton County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors, Board of Directors for the Chambliss Center for Children, Greater Chattanooga Sports Authority, the Chattanooga Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and the Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church. She earned her B.S. degree in Accounting from Alabama State University.

Larry Schlabach, MD

Larry Schlabach, M.D. is a licensed medical oncologist and hematologist with over thirty years of experience. He is currently in practice with Tennessee Oncology and previously acted as the Medical Director of Oncology Services at Erlanger Health System, where he helped establish a clinical oncological research program. Dr. Schlabach was recognized for his excellent care in 2019, receiving Erlanger Health’s prestigious Distinguished Physician Award. 

Dr. Schlabach holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry from Malone College and earned his M.D. from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine – Chattanooga. He then completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at University Alabama Birmingham. He has served as a clinical instructor and director of the division of Oncology at UTCOM in Chattanooga and received the Department of Internal Medicine’s Award for Outstanding Teaching in 2011.
